This post originally appeared on the Seas of Havoc Kickstarter project page and is reposted here so that fans can keep up to date with Rock Manor Games projects.
MPCs arrived and were approved over the holidays. This is the first time that I’ve had the pleasure of using the plastic storage tray, so I took some pictures of how I organized everything in the box:
- 1. Cardboard Coin storage
- 2. Room for both wooden treasure chests. I put the metal coins inside one and the cannonballs inside the other
- 3. Market deck and damage card storage
- 4. Coordinate dice
- 5. Treasure and rock/gust tokens
- 6. Wooden token storage
- 7. Solo cards, player decks and starting cards.
The player boards fit in above the wooden components
Then of course you can lay the board and all the rulebooks on top of everything to close the box.
Estimated Timeline
Production is almost completed, but the sourced materials (wooden tokens, metal coins, cannonballs) were a bit delayed so my project manager said that the factory cannot finish the mass production of Seas of Havoc until the beginning of February. It’s a bummer but we also caught a couple mistakes (deluxe edition only had 6 player boards instead of 8), so that could have also added some time. Either way these little delays happen and I’ve adjusted the timeline accordingly. We’re still looking at Fulfillment near the end of the 1st Quarter or early 2nd Quarter of this year.
- Early February 2023: Production Completion
- February 2023: Ocean Freight
- March – April 2023: Fulfillment
Forsaken Isles + Doomed Run
Next month, we’re launching a new Kickstarter for the final standalone game in the Set a Watch Series. Forsaken Isles has all brand new content (items, adventurers, creatures, locations, etc) and then Doomed Run is a big box storage solution and campaign mode. If you’re interested in following that project, we’d love to have you: https://tinyurl.com/setawatch3
