I hope everyone had a great holiday and is off to great New Year! One of our big New Year’s resolutions is to connect with our community more, so we will be live streaming and conducting online playtests once a month for the entire year. Online playtesting will occur the 2nd Thursday of every month at 9pm EST on our Discord server. You can join regularly or just pop in once in awhile. All are welcome to listen, play, watch, and participate in these playtests. On the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1PM EST, I’m going to live stream, answer questions, and show off stuff in development. Our first live stream will be on January 18th:

Pledge Manager

ICYMI, the Pledge Manager launched last month. Everyone should have received their email invitation. If you haven’t seen an email yet, Check your spam folder. If you use Gmail, sometimes your invite will go to your “Promotions” tab. If you still can’t find it, search your inbox for “PledgeManager”

If that doesn’t work:

Click – https://rock-manor-games.pledgemanager.com/projects/merchants-of-magick-dangerous-business/
Click “Request New Invite”
Enter your email address (the one you pledged with)
Wait at least 10 minutes – then go to your email, open the invite, and click the giant button to confirm all your goodies

What if I need to change my address?

As long as your items have not been shipped, you can always change your address. Just simply log back in to PledgeManager and make the appropriate change. However, if you change your country, additional shipping costs may apply.

How long will the Pledge Manager stay open?

We do not have an exact date and will set an exact date in a future update. Typically, we keep pledge managers open until we have to finalize our production numbers. Current estimate for this is the end of March.

Game Progress

We have all of the files drafted for manufacturing and are in the process of reviewing them. When putting together the punchboard for Draught of the Dragons, we realized that we had some additional space so we threw in a free stretch goal and included some potion mastery tokens. These tokens can be used to add a Potion Mastery variant to any game that is played with the Potion Recipes.

During setup, you will simply place the Potion Mastery token that corresponds to each Potion Recipe next to the Recipe card. The first player that activates that Potion Recipe collects the Potion Mastery token and scores the corresponding Coin (it can be added to either mastery score). If two players activate the same Recipe in the same round, the Coin is split evenly between players.

It seemed a waste to not use the space for something so hopefully you enjoy this little scoring opportunity.
