Turn-Based Sports Game Prototype: Day 1

While on vacation last week, I had this idea to combine the sports genre with turn-based strategy game.  It stuck with me and I decided to pursue the idea as a 7 day prototype.  I spent almost the entire day getting an isometric engine working.  It seems to have a working editor, but my first attempts at having the players via a point and click method has resulted in a ton of bugs.  It will also require that I put in some sort of pathfinding, so for the purposes of a prototype – I think I may switch to a simple keyboard input.
