Forsaken Isles & Doomed Run – May Update

posted in: blog, crowdfunding, kickstarter | 0

This post originally appeared on the Forsaken Isles and Doomed Run Kickstarter page and is reposted here so that fans can keep up to date with Rock Manor Games projects. Late Pledges are still available for this project!

First off, thank you to the 80% of you that have finished the Pledge Manager survey.  If you’re one of the 20% we’re still waiting on, be sure to fill out the survey at your earliest convenience so that we can accurately estimate our print run needs.

Game Progress

Over the past few weeks, Todd and I have played through the campaign and replayed the final realm quite a few times.  The final realm has brand new creatures and unhallowed cards so we really wanted to make sure that it offered a hard balanced challenge. Hopefully we struck the right balance, but if end up finding it too easy that’s Todd’s fault and if it’s too hard that’s my fault.

We’ve finished all of the Forsaken Isles files and sent them off to our technical editors for review.  We’re close to finishing up all the Doomed Run files.  Basically, we just have some story beats to write out and go through them for a final check. After that, we can send them to the editors as well.

Estimated (Rough) Timeline

As always, we will continue to post monthly updates with our progress.  I’m hesitant to post a timeline at this point because we’re still early in the process, so please understands that delays happen and this is just a rough estimate at this time.  Late Pledges will be open through Preproduction.  Changes of Address will be allowed up until Ocean Freight.  Exact cut off and lock dates will be announced in a future update.
